The XIII International Biennal of Sculture opened on the 27th July at Carrara of the famous Tuscan city of the marble quarries  will continue until the 28th September.

The exhibition Nothing But Scupture features works by some eighty sculptors from all over the world and is spread over a number of venues, including the Aula Magna of the Academy of Fine Arts and the Parco della Padula.

Meanwhile, sculpture vultures can also take a side trip to Florence to visit the splendid baroque Villa Corsini to see the exhibition of Antique Marbles from the Medici Collection (open till the 3 rd October). The collection houses masterpieces of Etruscan, Egyptian, Greek and Roman art.
