A group of master bakers are on hand at Senigallia, near Ancona (Marche region) between the 17 th and 20 th September 2009 to give free breadmaking lessons to both adults and children during the 9 th edition of Pane Nostrum, the International Festival of Bread. The bakers will set up their ovens in the open air, in the historic Piazza del Duca, the heart of Senigallia.
The Festival comes under the Slow Food Movement umbrella and exhibits typical local breads from Slow Food zones in Tuscany, Apulia, Sicily, Trentino Alto Adige and Marche, as well as different breads from France, Germany and Britain. Entrance to the Festival is free.
