Prize for the best cocktail in the 61 st AIBES National Contest for Italian barmen was won this year by a barlady. Caterina Lasagna, representing Emilia Romagna-San Marino came out the winner with her drink Angel, an elegant concoction of grappa moscato, vanilla syrup, white creme of cocoa, anisette, skimmed milk and blue curacao with a dash of edible powdered gold.
The competition was held at the Laguna Palace hotel, Mestre between the 3-5 November.
Ms. Lasagna will go on to represent the Italian association of Barmen at the IBA World Contest in 2011.
