Turins unique and spectacular National Museum of Cinema attracted record numbers of visitors in 2010, the 10 th anniversary of its opening, confirming its position as one of the citys major attractions. Just under 566,000 visitors flooded through its doors last year, 43,000 more than in the previous year 2009. In 2006, the Year of the Turin Winter Olympics, the Cinema Museum welcomed a total 532,000 visitors.
