The city of Cremona has inaugurated what is believed to be the biggest Sikh Temple in Europe.  Cremona has a large, perfectly integrated Indian community, some 2000 of which are Sikhs, who now have an official centre where they can practice their religion. Sikh workers  are appreciated for their ability in working with farm animals.

The Temple is not quite completed. It still lacks five gilded cupolas, which will be mounted as soon as sufficient funds are raised.
