Secrets of the library of Castel Thun is the intriguing theme of a conference scheduled for the 27 October 2011 at the Castello di Buonconsiglio, Trentino. The library, now open to the public, contains 9,500 volumes of great interest which will be discussed and illustrated by the experts and specialists who have been occupied with the task of preserving and documenting the library contents.
Other antique library collections will also be presented, including the library of the Monastery of Sant'Antonio di Cles and the Casa Manfroni, while the actor Andrea Castelli will give readings from various unusual literary texts.
Few cultural events in Italy do not involve food and this will be no exception. An ancient Thun recipe will be prepared for participants by chef Andrea Bassetti.
