Part of the third series of the highly successful TV Borgia saga is to be filmed in three castles of the ancient Duchy of Parma and Piacenza. Meanwhile, casting directors are looking for some 400 extras for crowd scenes, mostly men between 18 and 50, preferably with long hair and/or a beard.
Aspiring protagonists should present themselves on the 21-22-23 June at the Felix Ice Rink at Fiorenzuola D'Arda (Piacenza).
Rocca Viscontea di Castell'Arquato, Castello di Montechiarugolo and Castello di Torrechiara, are among the locations chosen for the new series, which is a combined European effort filmed by directors of different nationalities. It will run to twelve episodes and will be shown on Sky TV in the spring of 2014.
