The resorts of the Adriatic coast are famous for whooping it up in the summer and Senigallia (Marche) is no exception. This year's Summer Jamboree (now in its 14 th edition) highlights the Music and Culture of the USA in the '40s and '50s. Guest star, and for the first time in Italy, is the king of the rock n' roll twang guitar, Duane Eddy, who will perform on the 3 August 2013. Entrance is free.
Other performers at the Festival include: Ray Gelato, Junior Watson, Dave Gonzales, Deke Dickerson, Big Six and the Ranch Girls. This year's edition concentrates on the great guitarists and women vocalists of America in the '40s and '50s. The programme also features a Burlesque and Cabaret Show, with a workshop on the burlesque, a Big Hawaiian party on the beach, a Rock n' roll show with a big band of 22 musicians, a Rock on the Hills with events in the historic borghi surrounding Senigallia and a Rockin' Village, with a Vintage Market.
The Jamboree opens on the 2 August, literally, with a swing starring Slick Steve and the Gangsters, billed as acrobats of swing.
