GENZANO INFIORATA IN GERMANY
The small town of Genzano, near Rome, celebrated for its annual Corpus Domini Flower Festival, is to set up a programme of cultural exchanges with the German town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, inspired by the writings of Michael Ende, author of Momo and The Never-Ending Story. Ende, who was born in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, lived in Genzano between 1964 and 1986, where he wrote his most famous works.
In the 2013 edition of the Infiorata in June, Genzano Infiorata artist Arianna Salustri created a floral picture designed by German artist David Schnell to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the publication of Momo,
