MODENA POETS' DAY FILLS CAFES AND BARS
On International Poetry Day, March 21 2019, the town of Modena (Reggio Emilia), along with a group of neighbouring small towns will hold a Poetry Festival where all the hostelries, wine bars and caffè will mill with poets and writers reciting their works.
The following towns are involved in the Modena Festival: Castelnuovo Rangone, Castelvetro di Modena, Guiglia, Marano with Savignano sul Panaro, Spilamberto, Vignola, Zocca and Castelfranco Emilia. Performances begin at 18.00, followed by a collective toast to Poetry.
The event also features a Poetry competition for young poets.
