Golden Book Hotels, an Italian association of 49 hotels that includes a book in its hospitality package, has launched a writers competition. Original works of fiction can be submitted by aspiring authors up till the closing date on the 30^th June 2008. The story setting should be in one of the hotels of the group and the theme should revolve around the hotel itself (the various hotels can be viewed on the website: www.goldenbookhotels.it/luoghi.html.

The ten best stories selected will be translated into English and published as part of the Eureka series, distributed by the various hotels to their guests. Guests will subsequently be asked to choose their favourite story. Prizes will be awarded to those with the most votes at a gala evening to be held in 2009.
