SAILING ALONG NAPLES COAST @ 12 Jun 2008
Every Saturday until the 26th July, the sailing boat Tortuga takes visitors on a fascinating historical day trip along the coast of the Bay of Naples. The cruise includes a unique sea view of the Neapolitan castles Maschio Angioino and Castel dell'Ovo and a stopover at Pozzuoli to visit the Temple of Serapide. On board, entertainment and explanations will be provided by a couple of cabaret artists, who will introduce participants to lesser known aspects of the sights and monuments.
The Tortuga leaves the Beverello pier at Naples harbour every Saturday at 9.30 am, returning to the same pier at 4 pm. Cost per person is 40. The boat is also available for private hire up till October.
