The Adriatic seaside resort and fishing port of Senigallia (Marche region) hosts the great Bread Festival Pane Nostrum between the 18  and 21  September. During the four days of the event, master bakers will be baking their bread in the streets, illustrating the various techniques and traditions of bread-making in various areas of Italy and in France, Britain and Germany and countries where the towns of Sens, Lorrach and Chester are twinned with Senigallia..

This years edition of the popular festival includes special events, such as bread-making sessions for children, a baking course reserved for blind participants, music and folk dancing and a mass picnic in the shade of the castle.
