Protagonist of this year edition of Cartoon on the Bay at Rapallo (Liguria) is the famous rodent detective Geronimo Stilton. Children can meet their hero at his office in the Cartoon Village on Rapallo seafront, during the four-day event (15 th-18 th April 2010).

In addition, Geronimo Stilton will make a special appearance on the 17 th April, when he will head one of the cycling teams in the Cartoon on the Bike event when 20 teams of children between the ages of 7 and 16 will cycle from Rapallo to Portofino. The Stilton team will be captained by Italian cycling champion, Maurizio Fondriest, and by Antonio Marano, Vice-Chairman of RAI, Italian National TV.

A special exhibition has also been set up to honour Geronimo Stiltons ten years of success. Created by Milan writer Elisabetta Dami, and marketed by Altantyca Entertainment, the astute rat detective has sold over 20 million copies of his books in Italy alone and has been translated into several languages.
