The town of Soncino, near Cremona (Lombardia), has prepared a magical Christmas especially for children (and their parents) where elves, gnomes,  pixies and other fairytale personages lead visitors round  the Enchanted Village set up in the 17 th century spinning mill La Filanda and the grounds of the castle.

50,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, which includes a Christmas market, street performances and the recreation of well-loved fairy tales personified by hundreds of actors and extras.

The Enchanted Village runs between the 8 th and 23 rd December every day between 3 pm-8 pm, open also on the mornings of Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday from 10 am. Discounts are offered to those who book through internet: www.ilvillaggioincantato.it
