Lamborghini, one of Italys most prestigious car producers, recently showed off its latest model, the super-lux hypercar,  Aventador LP900-4, to the city of Rome at the Casino Valadier in Romes Villa Borghese Park. The occasion was celebrated with a parade of historic cars which filed past Piazza Venezia, the Colosseum, Piazza di Spagna, and Piazza del Popolo to the Palazzo Ruspoli Scuderie (stables) where they are on display.

The Aventador, named after a particularly courageous Spanish fighting bull,  was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. Lamborghini reports that there was a rush of orders and this years production has already been sold out . Eager purchasers who werent quick enough off the mark  will therefore have to resign themselves to waiting till next year !
