Covered with glittering mosaics and softly lit with fluctuating blue and green lighting, this is the 13 th Art station created in the city.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt"><SPAN lang=EN-US style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US"><FONT face=Arial>The other Art Stations on the metro circuit are decorated with 180 works by 90 internationally renowned artists, including Sol Le Witt, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Anish Kapoor, Amanda Levete, Alan Fletcher and Jannis Kounellis. The stations are authentic show places of modern art where visitors can enjoy passing through galleries of visual art work. Tradition prevails at the Archaeological Museum stop, where a new exit has been opened directly under the museum, decorated with life-size copies of some of the most important ancient sculpture pieces in the museum collection. Italian architects Alessandro Mendini and Gae Aulenti designed the Salvador Rosa station on the Vomero Hill and the Piazza Dante station respectively, while the Mendini atelier was also responsible for the Materdei station. <o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>

Meanwhile, Naples’ 4 beloved funicular railways continue to ply up and down the steep slopes, to the joy of natives and tourists alike.
